Caption: The Fish Head Nebula is part of a string of star-forming regions in the direction of the constellation Cassiopeia. These star-forming regions trace out part of one of the Milky Way's spiral arms. Hot oxygen, sulfur, and hydrogen gas in the nebula help astronomers trace out the complex structures that arise where stars are forming.
