Recent IU graduate John Miller Jr, who collaborated on a research project with Professor Salzer during his undergraduate studies, published an e-print paper as first author titled "Searches for Extremely Metal Poor Galaxies using ALFALFA-selected Dwarf Galaxies" along with some of Professor Salzer's past students, Steven Janowiecki and Alec Hirschauer. John is now a graduate student at the Minnesota Institute for Astrophysics, University of Minnesota.
We are excited to see our undergraduate students collaborating with our faculty and graduate students, both current and past, to publish their hard work and to succeed in their studies. Congratulations to John Miller and a nod to our current Outreach Coordinator and another of Professor Salzer's student, Brooke Kimsey-Miller for bringing this news to our attention.
