Recent PhD graduate Laura Congreve Hunter, Prof. Liese van Zee and collaborators (Prof Kristen B.W. Mc Quinn and Dr. Roger Cohn of Rutgers University) have been awarded 6 orbits of time with the Huble Space Telescope to observe nearby, low-mass, star forming galaxies in Cycle 31. This program aims to understand how a galaxy's properties impact the relationship between stellar feedback and turbulence in the atomic gas.
Also, Laura Congreve Hunter's paper on Holmberg II (Timescale of Stellar Feedback Driven Turbulence in the ISM: A Deep Dive into UGC 4305) has been accepted for publication in Astronomical Journal (August 2023)
Congratulations Laura on all the success!!
