First, we congratulate our graduates this academic year: Talha Ahmed, Arnob Rasul (December, 2023), Jace Rusznak, and Heather Samonski. We’re proud of your success and look forward to all that you will accomplish.
Jace received our Alumni Award for Overall Academic Excellence, and two of our current students, Bradley Hutchinson and James Wells received Hollis and Grete Johnson Research Prizes for their ongoing undergraduate research. Goethe Link Prizes for Outreach and Public Education in Astronomy went to Izzy Flores and Robbie Mailliard for all of their hard work on the 2024 total solar eclipse. Robbie also received a McCreery Scholarship Award for his academic achievements.
Marshal H. Wrubel Scholarships honoring students pursuing challenging cross-disciplinary coursework in astronomy, computer science, math and physics went to Nick Michaels, Carson Goeglein, and Hunter Stewart.
